Loved the lodge, beautiful grounds and convenience to downtown Lake George. Only con was that our lodge was near the maintenance shed, which at times was quite loud. This was a slight annoyance. Wouldn't stop me from booking again

This place is gorgeous. It’s a mid century hotel with rustic touches. Very inviting, very relaxing. Takes you back to calmer easier times. Huge great room with lots of windows, a fireplace and a bar. Large deck has rocking chairs, a fire pit and quite the view, it overlooks 5 states. The new owner was on site and he’s proud of what he has there as he should be, I’ve been all over this country and never been to such a relaxing place. He plans to open a restaurant soon within the hotel. The bedrooms have been complete renovated. Brand new everything. Bed is very comfortable and the linens are high end. If you need anything the staff has got you covered. Make sure to book a room with a view of the valley to see the beautiful sunrise, however if those are booked you will still have an amazing view from the great room. They served coffee fruit and tea bread in the great room for breakfast. It’s the little touches that really matter We will definitely be back! This place is a MUST stay!!

I needed to be close to Rutland for a biz meeting and this was a very worthy extra drive and wonderful property.... Will be back !

Brads and Lara both served a fabulous breakfast. So friendly and welcoming! The bed was very comfortable. Only complaint was that the cabinet, closet door needs to be greased with WD 40 please on the hinges! A terrible & loud screeching noise!
